My Story

Growing up, I always had a passion for the outdoors. I loved the way that seemingly every moment flows into the next one. Spending a lot time camping, fishing and working on my granddad's farm as a youngster, I knew I belonged out in nature, but after school life's pathways took me into the medical field for about 10 years. The call for adventure and life in the wild became so loud and clear that I could not refuse and I traded the office of a Game-viewer and I became a "Game Ranger".  I have been a Field guide now for almost 6 years and currently working and living at Sanbona Wildlife Reserve in the hart of the Little Karoo in South Africa. This semi-desert area is full of awesome, unique wonders that will only reveal itself with time and patience. I'm sharing my special moments via my camera lens. Chasing those unexpected moments captivates me, and pushes my creativity every day.
